I meet you where you are, with warmth, deep experience, and evidence-based tools to help clear the path ahead.

Individual Therapy

Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, lost, or like they can’t quite get out of their own way. You might be dealing with:

  • Anxiety or depression

  • Self-doubt or low self-confidence

  • Relationship difficulties or couples conflict

  • Career uncertainty or major life transitions

  • Past trauma that feels like it’s interfering in the present

  • Questions about identity, purpose, or direction

Whatever brings you here, we’ll work together to understand what’s holding you back, and ensure you have the confidence to build your path and move forward.

Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy

A loving partnership can be one of the most fulfilling bonds of a lifetime, and like any living thing, it requires care to grow and thrive. When harmony breaks down, couples often find themselves caught in repeating conflict or growing increasingly distant.

In couples therapy, we explore what's keeping you stuck:

  • Unresolved issues from the past

  • Disappointments rooted in unexamined expectations

  • Outside pressures: societal, financial, or familial

I help each partner uncover how their own vulnerabilities and defensive behaviors may be fueling conflict, we then use those insights to find new, more productive ways to engage.

What couples often find on the other side:

  • Greater ease and joy, along with a deeper sense of trust and security

  • The ability to express needs and be met with compassion

  • A relationship that more closely reflects your shared values and ideals

Group Therapy

I offer group therapy in Brooklyn for trans and gender-nonconforming children and teens, as well as a dedicated in-person support group in Brooklyn for parents of trans and gender-nonconforming kids. Group meetings provide participants the opportunity to exchange information and share resources, explore personal issues, develop greater self-awareness and understanding, and simply to experience the support provided by a community of similarly situated peers.  For many participants, group therapy can be powerful and rewarding, providing the chance to talk about concerns, often the same concerns shared by other group members, and learn from alternate perspectives and feedback.
